Malawi
While it may be one of Africa’s
smallest countries geographically, the people of Malawi have
the largest of reputations: they are known as being one of
Africa’s warmest and friendliest populations. The celebrated
Malawian welcome has earned the country the Warm Heart of
Africa tag.
Lake Malawi, the continent’s third
largest lake, dominates the landscape. Most itineraries in
Malawi include kayaking, snorkelling and sailing options.
While the country does not carry extensive wildlife populations,
Liwonde in the south and the Nyika Plateau in the north are
fantastic national parks.
Mozambique
This is a country of immense beauty,
and because of its fascinating history it also has a rich
social heritage that is a unique blend of African, Arabic,
European and Eastern cultures. The resulting ambience, reflected
in the colourful music, art, architecture and excellent food,
makes for an inviting and captivating country.
Other enduring attributes include
vibrant and cosmopolitan cities, beautiful palm-lined beaches
that stretch along the more than 2 500km coastline, spectacular
diving and snorkelling sites, and some wonderfully scenic
landscapes. |
