Our Experience

A few years back, three independent-minded souls (they share the name Ian, a quirk of fate that has caused much amusement to our clients and guests) came together to form a partnership based on common priorities and a strongly held vision – a vision that is dedicated to wilderness awareness and to a greater understanding of the animal-human interface.

Driven by a commitment to achieve this and wanting to make a difference, we chose to turn our passion into a lifestyle. The combined experience and knowledge we have covering every country and the offshore islands is substantial.

In 2004, Robbyn Moir joined us as travel consultant specializing in South Africa and all water sports and activities. She has represented South Africa internationally in sailing regattas and has extensive diving experience, which includes most of the East African coastline and offshore islands as well as other well-known international dive sites. Robbyn has also travelled throughout Southern Africa. 

The three directors of Invent Africa are; Ian Michler, Ian McCallum, Ian McMillan.
